The Pyburn Street Church of Christ in Pocahontas has a new ministry focused upon the needs of foster parent families. Many times when a child is placed into a foster home they come with merely the clothes on their back. The Compassion Closet is a place where these families can receive essentials for the care of these children in need.
We have available and continue to collect:
- New and good used clothing from “preemie” to teenage sizes for boys and girls
- New Socks & underwear
- Baby wipes, diapers, pull-ups, etc.
- we as well have had some Pack and Plays donated
Items NOT needed at this time include:
- shoes
- baby beds
- car seats
- changing tables
- furniture
We would love for our sister congregations to participate with us in this ministry by announcing the availability of this ministry to all foster families in Northeast Arkansas and Southeast Missouri.
